COMPANY BACKGROUND
Established in 2016, SIMLU HOLDINGS is a proud level one BBBEE company whose main focus is the investment of manufacturing entities.
We have set up our own training centre to ensure upskilling of employees within the textile industry. One of our divisions provides advisory services to companies seeking to expand, we also assist with setting up new operations and investments. As a result of these relationships, we own shares in several manufacturing companies in the clothing and textile space. We have also developed a healthy pipeline of projects under facilitation with our consultancy division.
We have since created more than 700 direct permanent jobs through our project investments.
ABOUT US
SIMLU HOLDINGS has extensive knowledge in the design and production of PPE, workwear, uniforms, and fashion apparel. The company designed, certified, and manufactured some medical equipment locally during the COVID-19 pandemic, including masks, gowns, and other items.
We provide distinctive solutions that are manufactured to order and fulfill very high requirements. To ensure the highest possible or higher quality of our clothing, we carefully choose our fabrics. To assure quality and a long-term supply, we conduct internal tests and inspections of the fabric from all suppliers. Trims are also carefully chosen.
To ensure effectiveness and quality in our production, we put our production personnel through rigorous training. Additionally, we have a highly skilled group of pattern makers, designers, quality assurance, and work study officers.
