Product Overview

DuPont™ Tychem® 6000 AL TF630 WG is a ventilated, air-fed coverall with stitched and over-taped seams. It has a fully enclosed over hood with a clear front and crown see-through visor, a front closure with double flap hook and loop, and a single zipper closing to the centre (horizontal opening). Three exhaust valves sit at the hips and the back of the hood, and an air distribution plenum made of Tychem 6000 fabric distributes cool, breathable air to help reduce heat stress. It has an emergency egress strip, attached non-dissipative under gloves and integrated dissipative socks with boot flap. Grey.

The protective system made of Tychem 6000 AL TF630 WG and the DuPont air-line belt, model 8000513914, helps protect the worker from contaminants. The simplified closure makes donning easier, and the suit can be taken off quickly using the emergency egress strip. In addition to the top clear visor, the suit offers a non-PVC, highly chemical-resistant 180° panoramic view.

Tychem 6000 AL garments are made from a lightweight, durable fabric (under 500 g per garment): a proprietary barrier film laminated to a Tyvek® substrate. They offer protection against numerous hazardous industrial organic chemicals, highly concentrated inorganic chemicals (even under pressure), particulates, biohazards and certain chemical warfare agents. The user must check reagent to garment compatibility before use, using the chemical permeation data in DuPont SafeSPEC™.

The garment does not protect against ionising radiation. It is not flame resistant and must not be used around heat, open flame, sparks or in potentially flammable environments.
